B25h - Gunsight
Check out the new B25H gunsight Alpo has developed! This baby will help you zero in on stuff upto 2,000 yards away with the 75mm howitzer in the nose. What better way to bust up a formation of low lancasters! Go to the Training pages in the Bomber section. Save the image to your gunsight directory in Aces High. From inside the game, open the clipboard, go to Options, Preferences, Gunsights. Find the B25H and set the pilot gunsite to the b25h.bmp. Enjoy!
Friday Squad Ops (FSO)
Under the leadership of our new Bomber Wing Commander, the SkyKnights have committed to providing pilots to the Friday Night Squad Ops in the Special Events Arena. SKHammer will be Commanding Officer for the SEA version of the SkyKnights while I will perform the XO and flight duties.
This event is a SQUADRON commitment, however... the SkyKnight squadron are not the only folks who can fly for us. SkyKnights, Tigers, anyone wishing to fly with us as a group has only to ask and we will see what we can do to accommodate you. The events launch at 11:00pm Eastern so it could be a little late for some. However, this is as close to flying a scenario as you will get on a weeknight!!
Bomber Wing Command
As Denny is taking a Leave of Absence, SKHammer has stepped into the role of Bomber XO for the SkyKnights. Changes in the Sunday Squad Operations are already in place as the Fighter Wing and Bomber Wing are now using the mission tool and having planes ready for launch in a timely manner. Please note... if you are late in arrival, you will undoubtedly get left behind so please try to arrive promptly at 9:00pm EST so we can launch.
SKBG Forum
Well, it has finally come to pass that we no longer need to solely rely on HiTech or email for communication outside of the game. Thanks to Denny and his son-in-law Rick (owner of the server) for the hard work they have put into getting this setup.
I will continue to post any AARs submitted to me via email on this website, however there is a forum on the board which will be a little quicker in getting them published I'm sure.
Film Link
Upon further review, I've found some things I didn't have linked quite right and one of them was the Warbird Segment of the Indianapolis Air Show. Sure, you might have seen it before... but just listening to those engines brings a smile to the face.
AARs
AARs will no longer be posted on the website but will always be on the forum pages under the Squad Night thread. This will hopefully facilitate an open forum discussion on what we need to do to improve as a squad.
