Countz's Story

A little history…
I spent most of my life in Florida, from a toddler until I left for the Military. I grew up in Sarasota until halfway
through High School and then moved to Ft. Lauderdale. I spent 9 years active duty in the Air Force, half in Germany
and the rest stationed with US Central Command in Tampa. I spent a few years in the middle with the U.S. Air Force
Entertainment program, including a year on tour with their premier group, Tops In Blue. I was the lighting director
for the 1993 Tops In Blue, "One Song, One Voice" traveling to over 30 Countries and 40 States (including 10 Eastern
European countries.) We travelled to Eastern Europe as part of a State Department cultural exchange program.
After leaving the Air Force, I became a Defense Contractor, and today I am the Server Engineer for Special Operations
Command Central on MacDill AFB in Tampa Florida.
My Family…
I have three beautiful girls, with my ex, and they are my life. I have a little girl named Emily and twins girls named
Chloe and Chyanne. I am in love with the most gorgeous woman on the planet, named Meg, and she also has 2 children,
Hannah and Dominik. Meg and I have known each other for over a decade, but fell in love the last several years. I have
been trying to get her to play, and recently got her to create an account, though she says she will only gun for me.
A little about my flight sim experience…
I have been into computers since I was 12 and received a Commodore VIC-20 for Christmas. As the computers became better
and faster, I got involved in more and more complicated games. My first real flight sim was on an Amiga 500 and was a
helicopter simulator. I played many over the years, but my first real online flying with humans was in Aces High II,
going back a few years. I was a member of a squad at the time, but I cannot remember the name now. I quit playing in
2007, taking on BattleField 2 (which has some nice helicopter and jet simulations), but came back to Aces High in the
summer of 2008. BattleField 2 had some nice flying, but I never got the camaraderie as I do in Aces High. I enjoy
collaboration much more than soloing.
In Aces High, I am certainly capable of flying a fighter and can even hold my own from time to time, but I seem to do
much better in a bomber. I feel bombers take much more patience, and some of these people seem to be looking for the
quick kill.
I was flying a bomber one day when an SK member named Jack asked to do some bombing runs together. That day I ended
up flying with him and CavCapt and was instantly interested in joining this motley bunch.
I look forward to many more missions with you all…
