SKByron's Story
Some of you might have noticed that in the evening, my voice seems to change. Actually, that is my youngest son, Byron, who flies on my account when I am unable or busy. Since he loves to fly with the Sky Knights, I thought I'd introduce him to you.
Byron is 13 (but only until March) and in the 8th grade. He plays on the school's chess team, and is one of the top two players. He also plays the saxophone in band, and was promoted to the 9th grade band for next year. He works in the school cafeteria, and also has a side business mowing lawns. He enjoys reading, building models of WWII aircraft, playing chess and video games, and like all true Schlechtys, eating!
Byron's favorite fighter of all time is the Spitfire, and you'll usually find him in either the Spit V or IX. He loves to debate the merits of the different aircraft, and can instantly recognize most of the AH aircraft just by seeing the cockpit when he walks into the room.
He has improved a lot in the last few months as his time in the virtual skies increases. He is very open to all advice and tips that you would share with him, and is very eager to learn.
